TIANMEN FOX FAIRY SHOW is the world's first subject-live performance using the high
mountains as back ground and valley landscape as stage. Through music, dance,
magic, acrobatics, images, and other forms of performance, blend in Zhangjiajie
ethnic characteristics, it will give you an ancient legend of love and magical visual
feast at the foot of Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain.
The story
originated from Hunan province traditional opera "Liuhai cutting
firewood" .The show is based on these and artistic elemants are created. A fox lady practiced in the remote Tianmen mountain for over thousand years and
became a fox fairy. Luckily, she was choosen by Fox King as princess. Liuhai is
poor single woodcutter in Tianmen Mountain, laughed by people everywhere.
However, after they met in Tianmen Mountain, the fox fairy yearn for man-kind
life and fall in love with poor happy woodcutter. A true love that can move
everybody begins. However, the fight between devildom and midgard, the choice
of morality and love, the fairy and common life, they are blocked between two
love hearts. This is a touching story that combines smiles, tears, sadness and joy.
Opening Theatre Stage:
It is located at foot of Tianmen Mountain
valley which is with a depth of five kilometers
and elevation of 1300 meters above sea level. It has a sitting capacity of 2800 seats. The center stage covers 10000 square meters and using glass fiber reinforced plastic structure, which is currently the world's largest structure.  ________________________________________________________________________________ CHARMING XIANGXI CULTURAL DANCE SHOW 
You can watch “Charming Xiangxi Cultural Dance Show” at Charming Western Hunan Grand Theatre, located in Wulingyuan district. It is the oldest theatre in Zhangjiajie City. Founded in March 2001, after 11 years of development, this theatre has gradually become an icon in Zhangjiajie tourism and it is reputed to be a venue where one can watch China's most spectacular cultural show.
It has a siting capacity of 2800 people.
